Responsibilities
· Creating the information architecture and interaction design for transactional, informational, and marketing user experiences including intranets, extranets, micro-sites, web applications, mobile applications and business tools
· Developing and documenting detailed user experience specifications for highly interactive interfaces
· Developing static and interactive prototypes for demonstration and evaluation of concepts to business owners or for validation with end-users
· Conducting end-user research, prototype testing, and usability testing
· Translating insights gleaned from user research and client input into IA deliverables including wireframes, task flows, sketches, interaction specifications, etc.
· Collaborating with clients and end-users in order to gather business requirements and translate them into effective, user-centered interactive experiences
· Participating in client presentations and providing support materials for client presentations including research and design artifacts
· Contributing knowledge, research, and insight to the user experience community and to the practice at our company
· Conceptualizing, designing and prototyping new features
· Advocating for best of breed experience design and design thinking
· Moving seamlessly from whiteboard sketches and paper prototypes to interactive prototypes (wireframes aren't sufficient; prototypes have to be interactive via HTML/CSS/JavaScript)
· Strong working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Fireworks and associated design tools
· Experience with user interface design patterns and standard UCD methodologies
· Perform field research to discover and implement important design details that people may not realize they need
· Elicit constructive feedback and capable of interpreting that feedback into design solutions
Principal Accountabilities
· Pairing with developers to design the presentation layer
· Maintaining and evolving a set of design patterns and standards
· Understanding of common software development practices
· Should Have Knowledge on Scrum Development Process
· Design process involving research, experimentation, and revision
· Incorporate usability testing feedback

· Strong working knowledge of HTML, CSS, Rails, javascript/JQuery, ObjectiveC (iOS), C++
· Knowledge on New Technologies
· Strong visual design skills: Latest trends, color and typography

· Collaborate with others and work well with developers and product management.
Required Education
·Bachelor's Degree (Master's Degree preferred) in a related field, such as Human-Computer Interaction, Library Sciences, Cognitive Science, Computer Science, etc.
Minimum Requirements
· 8-10 years’ experience as an information architect, interaction designer, or user experience professional (or similar role).
· 3-4 years of relevant experience in UI/UX Products which are live and generating revenue to the organization.
· Demonstrated ability to produce meaningful and effective design artifacts for complex transactional interfaces, taxonomies and metadata frameworks, and templates for content management systems
·Proficiency in a variety of design prototyping tools including Axure, Omnigraffle, Adobe CS, and/or iRise
·Experience in client services
· Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
