Job Description:

• Responsible to develop and grow our engineering team while meeting and creating company goals on the technical front.
• Responsible for product delivery, code quality and architecture.
• Ensure scalability, security and performance of our platform.
• Work closely with the Project Manager and set both short- and long-term technical goals.

Key Functions & Roles of the Candidate:

• Defining tasks, deliverables, dependencies, resources and timeline in coordination with the project Manager
• Being able to do realistic Project timeline estimations
• Being able to handle multiple projects
• Ensuring team members understand deliverables and have task lists
• Putting together a technical write-up for programming features of the site
• Helping team to set and achieve realistic milestones
• Mentoring developers on required subject matter
• Reporting to management about any risk or possible delay in delivery
• Ensuring documentations and reports are complete, current, and stored appropriately
• Working in an Agile development environment, helping with code organization and continuous integration strategies
• While completing all of the above duties you must maintain excellent communication with the clients/Project Manager while managing their expectations

Qualification

• Successfully finished academic studies in the field of computer sciences and having 6+ years of experience as a developer

• Experienced in implementing PHP frameworks of Codignator, Zend , symphony etc.
• Experienced using HTML5, CSS, SaSS, jQuery, Ajax
• Experience in source control systems such as GIT or Subversion (SVN)
• Have experience with REST API, JSON, SOAP
• Have experience using any ETL tool is a plus
• Experience with working in agile environment using scrum board is a huge advantage
• Proactive, goal-oriented, reliable and a have a self-structured way of working
• Fluent in English
• Any other value-added skills are embraced with open arms
• Experience in source control systems such as GIT or Subversion (SVN)
   
• Experience in running applications on Amazon Web Services, Azure, or other cloudbased platforms
• Experience in technologies such as Redis, ElasticSearch, Memcache, etc. is a plus
• Experience in MongoDB, SOAP, Apache, and XML is a plus
• Strong understanding of web technologies, usability, information architecture, and browser compatibility issues
• Knowledge of basis data management, database concepts, database-driven Web applications
• Ability to handle multiple, competing priorities, meet deadlines, manage risk, and troubleshoot problems
• Proven experience in working with budgets, clients, and acting as a liaison between clients and developers, designers, and other team members
